My Life

I’m “just a small town girl, living in a lonely world… Don’t stop believing. Hold on to that feeling…” (Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing”)

Ok so Shreveport isn’t that small town but it can be for some.  I don’t see myself as a big city girl at all though.  I’m not exactly lonely either. I’m married to my best friend (I know cliché, but it’s the truth) and have two beautiful girls that love to give furry kisses and sleep all day.  So I guess the whole song lyric was just for fun then, it doesn’t really apply to me.  But I do LIKE that song.

Me and the Husband

I say I’m from Shreveport but up until now most of my life was spent in Arkansas. Thank God for college and then finding a husband from Louisiana or I’d still be there.

There isn’t much else to know about me. I’m just a wife that loves to cook but hates to clean.  I spend a lot of time in my office trying to organize it and make it an efficient office, but I’ve been told that creative people typically have a harder time with cleaning. Even if it’s not true, I’m going to use it as my excuse.  I enjoy movies of all kinds, music of all kinds, and when I get a chance, I enjoy a good book.
